We're sort of new to Vegas and have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for quite a while now, with no luck. This place opened in November/2016 and it's kind of hidden but I'm so glad I found it! It's so freaking delicious! The service was wonderful. There were two girls checking on us and serving us, very genuinely friendly. Everything looked good so we took a little long to make up our minds. We finally ordered the torta cubana, plato de bistec, 3 tacos de asada, two shrimp tacos, 3 glass bottles of coke and an order of Menudo to go, it all came out to less than $60. May I add, their tortillas are hand made! That to me is a bonus. Their tortilla chips were fresh as well. We didn't wait long for our food either. I've always said I don't care for the price as long as the food is worth it and this food was just that and more! We're definitely coming back for breakfast tomorrow!

I was driving down Sahara crossing Decatur and thought, I'm hungry. I did a Yelp and I saw this restaurant and it had 5 stars...I'm there! It's in a huge shopping complex and can be seen off Sahara, so worth it. It's big, bright and casual. It has everything, the menu lacks nothing .... breakfast, menudo, posole, tortes anytime. I had the machacha and it was excellent! They brought some red chile that had a great spicy bite to it. I saw fish, ceviche, octopus and more. Oh yeah, their corn tortillas handmade. The service is great and friendly. They have Agua Fresca, milk shakes, beers and margaritas

Best Mexican food I've come across and I don't give that type of compliment easy. My cousin said his horchata was the best he's ever had. Fresh made tortilla chips, street tacos were great. Fish taco and shrimp taco were A+. Hell even the lemons were the best I've had(no seeds and fresh)

What To Expect

Mexican cuisine is as complex as any other world cuisine, such as those of China, France, Italy and Japan. It is created mostly with ingredients native to Mexico, as well as those brought over by the Spanish conquistadors, with some new influences since then. In addition to staples, such as corn and chile peppers, native ingredients include tomatoes, squashes, avocados, cocoa and vanilla, as well as ingredients not generally used in other cuisines, such as edible flowers, vegetables like huauzontle and papaloquelite, or small criollo avocados, whose skin is edible.

EMPANADA

Is a stuffed bread or pastry baked or fried in many countries of Latin America and in Spain. The name comes from the Spanish verb empanar, meaning to wrap or coat in bread.

Empanadas are made by folding dough over a stuffing, which may consist of meat, cheese, huitlacoche, or other ingredients.

Our Chef

Alberto was born in a small town in Guerrero, Mexico. He later moved with his mother, father and brothers and sisters to Mexico City. In 1985 he decided to try his luck, and came to the United States. He worked in many place; cleaning floors for Mr. Clean Maintenance, worked at Coco’s and Mr. B’s coffee shop as a cook. He also cut lawns on the weekends. He saved money until he was finally able to open his own restaurant in 1993.
